OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone Turanza Quiettrack is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Bridgestone offers an 80,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire promotes high driving comfort levels. It was designed with Bridgestone's QuietTrack technology which provides a detailed computer-optimized tread pattern to lower the road and tread pattern noise heard in the vehicle's cabin. The tread features in-groove quiet tracks, optimized shoulder slots and a variable pitch sequence that work together to decrease the road noise generated during the drive. They dampen and cancel the road and tread pattern noise out before they can ruin the passenger's driving enjoyment. On the other hand, the model's steel belt reinforced polyester casing keeps its optimal shape under the driving pressure, while the ComfortCruise Technology's computer designed rounder footprint keep the tire's contact with the road surface. This enables the tire's close road contact, which allows it to absorb the shock of driving. This ensures that the road vibrations are not felt while the tires are in motion. As a result, the model guarantees a quiet and comfortable driving experience.

The detailed asymmetric tread pattern and the all season tire compound improve the all weather traction. The asymmetric tread pattern was designed with a high number of zigzag sipes on the tread blocks and the EdgePerformance Technology's interlocking grooves pattern. This allows the tire to offer additional biting edges that firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather, especially when driving on ice- and snow-covered road surfaces. The all season compound keeps the tire's traction in various conditions, from the heat of summer to colder winter conditions and it optimizes the tire's rubber flexibility all year. The circumferential grooves and ideal shoulder slots of the rounded footprint manage to prevent hydroplaning. They increase the model's water and slush dispersing capability and guarantee a secure year round performance.

The model's ideal footprint and asymmetric tread pattern improve the controllability and performance. The rounder road contact patch maintains the tire's road contact at all times during the tire's performance. This significantly improves the steering responsiveness and its driving stability. This results in a faster and more precise steering responsiveness to the driver's instructions, while it secures the structural stability against the driving pressure. The shoulder tread block placement with the siping detail improves the tire's grip on the road surface during cornering. These tread elements improve the number of biting edges gripping the road to boost the maneuvering capability and ensure a safer drive.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
